South Cork Field Archers are based in Ballymartle Woods, Riverstick, Co Cork. We shoot most Sunday mornings at 10am.
We have a 3D and 2D course laid out in a trail within our wooded shooting ground which is available to shoot throughout the year.
We also practice the ancient discipline of Clout Archery. Clout is one of the oldest forms of archery competition dating from the middle ages in which archers shoot arrows at a flag from a relatively long distance and score points depending on how close each arrow lands to the flag. An impressive sight.
As a field archery group we accommodate all styles of bow, from the primitive/traditional to the high-tech.
South Cork Field Archers recognises all Irish Field Archery organisations.
